Hybrid Adhesives are used in the building, furniture, automotive and construction engineering industries. They have very good adhesion to a wide range of materials, including wood, metal, ceramics, plastics, concrete, and stone.
They are characterised by high mechanical strength and are resistant to tension, compression and bending, as well as to atmospheric conditions such as humidity, temperature and other weather phenomena. Hybrid adhesives do not shrink while curing, which is critical in joining components which vary in properties. They are flexible, so they conform to movement and vibration, making them suitable for bonding parts exposed to vibration. They have low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
