Upholstery Adhesives

TYTAN INDUSTRY offers a range of water-based and solvent-based Upholstery Adhesives.

Water-based Upholstery Adhesives are one-component or two-component water-based adhesives with the addition of modifiers. They are designed for application with spray guns. They are characterised by good adhesion to upholstery materials, fast bonding, long open time and form a flexible bond. Water-based Adhesives are non-flammable and do not contain any organic solvents, which makes them safe and environmentally friendly.

Solvent-based Upholstery Adhesives are composed of resins, polymers and organic solvents. Once applied to the surface to be bonded, the solvent evaporates, leaving the resin and polymer to cure and form a strong, permanent bond.

Our solvent-based Upholstery Adhesives are characterised by rapid bonding and a short time to fully set. They have good performance on large surfaces, as the solvents they contain facilitate even distribution of the adhesive and the formation of precise joints. Depending on the type of resin or polymer used in the formulation, solvent-based adhesives can be flexible and absorb vibrations or movements at the interface of bonded materials. Once set, solvent-based adhesives form permanent bonds that are resistant to chemicals, moisture, heat, other atmospheric factors, and more.

The Upholstery Adhesives in our range are designed for bonding foam to foam, as well as foam to wood, chipboard, cardboard and other upholstery materials.
