Production of paper packaging

PVAC Adhesives are based on an aqueous polymer dispersion, Hot-Melt EVA Adhesives are based on a mixture of EVA polymers and synthetic resins, and Hot-Melt PO Adhesives based on polyolefin are used to produce various types of paper packaging. These products provide excellent bonding:

• polypropylene with paper (in the production of paper bags), paper in PVC covers, guaflex,
• bottoms of paper and polypropylene bags,
• polypropylene sheets with paper,
• in the production of paper rolls and bags for the food sector,
• elements of paper or impregnated paper (and bind them),
• paper bags with a polypropylene window,
• printed or varnished paper,

The wide range of adhesives for the production of paper packaging has been developed as a result of special research by Selena Group’s R&D teams so that they are characterised by: high performance, excellent adhesion to polypropylene, high final strength, fast setting time, excellent temperature resistance, strong initial grip, and high thermal stability. The products are splatter-free, have good adhesion to difficult substrates, and, when dry, form a transparent, glossy, flexible, and durable coating. Importantly, the formulations are free of organic solvents.
